What was already indicated in parts on their debut, solidifies on the follow-up "Downfall" into an overall theme: Sometimes life just sucks. Sometimes things happen that you would never have expected. Sometimes everything just goes down the drain and there is nothing you can do about it – wait, really nothing?

This is not quite true … SWALLOW'S ROSE lead the way and swim bravely upstream. In that process, they draw new motivation from every setback, they search for the silver lining on every gloomy horizon and above all convey a meaningful message: You never know when it might actually be over - so: It's now or never! Make the most of it! Leave nothing unsaid! Appreciate what you have! And damn it, enjoy life while you can! In twelve melodic punk anthems, the quintet from Bodenmais in the Bavarian Forest presents itself more grown-up, thoughtful, honest and consistent than ever before. The new songs push forward unstoppably, put the finger deep in the wound and at the same time lovingly take care of it with an indestructible hope that touches you deeply and won’t let you go.
