FRENZAL RHOMB
Frenzal Rhomb play fast melodypunk with pop harmonies, reminiscent of similar US artists like NOFX. The influences from the American skatepunk scene are obvious and also show up in the humorous lyrics of the band, which also include political topics, but try to process them in a funny way.
When you think of Australian punk rock, you probably can't avoid the name Frenzal Rhomb. Coughing Up A Storm was Frenzal Rhomb's debut album in 1995, even before they were signed to Fat Wreck Chords, but right after they toured Down Under as a support act for bands like Offspring or Bad Religion. Their simple fun punk has not changed its successful formula of extremely short and fast skate songs with polyphonic vocals.
