BRACKET

It just so happens that the legendary Bracket are back in business - going both through new eras and looking back at their early days. For more than 25 years, northern California’s Bracket have felt like a square peg in a world of round holes. The story goes that Bracket were too melodic to be punk, and too punk to be pop. But the band found a home at a haven for misfits, Fat Wreck Chords in their early career.

After their re-appearances with “Too Old To Die Young” on Fat, Bracket teamed up with SBÄM Records to follow their dream of re-releasing older stuff properly on quality vinyl records.

Not short after, in the weird year of 2020, Bracket released their “Best Of Würst”-album, a collection of B-sides and compilation tracks that haven’t gotten quite the attention they individually deserved. The record was received so well, it even got it’s own christmassy edition!

Now SBÄM is releasing “Like You Know”, Bracket’s hardly released album from 1996, just before their Fat Wreck era. Recorded at a rustic, sunny, hillside ranch known as Prairie Sun Studios in Cotati, California, during a month long recording session in the spring of 1996.
